AT&T from Zero to Hero – Changes iPhone Upgrade Policy

3606862311_856167dd3aI guess you could say they just gave in, but I think AT&T  knew they made the right call. Whether the original policy was sound or not, AT&T trending on Twitter as the punching bag of the tech world for the last week was not okay for their business, and they probably wanted to reflect and express their good will to both Apple and their current 3G customers, including yours truly. This is a pretty big concession and a great display of the power of social media and twititions. Thanks to John Thrasher for sharing this on Twitter before I saw it anywhere else! Looks like I’ll be upgrading my iPhone after all.
